The Audience's Say On SIX!

Author SaadiqahSaadiqah, May 26th, 2023

Here’s what you, the audience, thought about this incredible musical!

Although we like to hear what critics have to say about a show, the best critic out there is you, the audience, and here is what you had to say about the Tony Award Winning musical, SIX.

What's the story?

Catherine of Aragon, Anne Boleyn, Jane Seymour, Anne of Cleves, Catherine Howard, Katherine Parr. You know the names, and you may know how each of their marriages to a certain king came to an end, but these six women are far from just a historical footnote. In SIX, the floor is theirs as they tell you what really went down in the court of Henry VIII. Featuring a whole host of original royal hits ("Ex-Wives", "Haus of Holbein" and "Don't Lose Ur Head") SIX is ripping the history books as it brings a fun, sassy and feminist take on one of the most famous parts of history - all tied up in a 75-minute epic concert performance!

Here's what you thought!

Lisa from Boston, MA

"LOVED SIX
I just saw SIX in Boston -- it was FABULOUS!!! It is like Hamilton for Henry VIII. The lyrics for all of the songs are amazing -- historically correct, super funny and so clever. The fact that six beautiful and talented women (backed up by an all-girl band) can sing and (boy can they) dance for 90 minutes and exude such fun, positive energy makes SIX a must-see!!!"

Janice from New York

"ONE OF A KIND!
History has found its new platform! Hamilton blessed theatergoers with American history and SIX is following, if not creating, it's own footsteps with this version of British history. Considering the story of Henry VIII's wives is a tragic one, this musical celebrates their lives in a new light - if you're not up on your feet dancing by the end you've gone to the wrong show!"

Jean from Chicago, Il

"SIX STARS FOR SIX
Extended and Sold out in Chicago. The six wives of Henry VIII tell their stories in a rock concert. Incredibly talented performers. Each Queen gets her "Queenspiration" from modern Queens Beyonce, Alicia Keys, Ariana Grande, etc. Personal Favorite was Anne of Cleves-hilarious. Do Not Miss, go more than once! Hope you'll enjoy as much as we did in Chicago!"

Jacklyn Krzemien from Milwaukee, Wisconsin

"AMAZING!!
I took my 12 year old daughter, who has been obsessed with videos of "Six" and we could not have been more pleased. The ladies voices were all amazing and they put on such a great, entertaining show. So happy we were able to do this together."
