Celebrate 20 years of Wicked on Broadway

Join us, alongside millions of theatre fans, in celebrating one of Broadway's longest-running musicals with National Wicked Day today! Wicked made its debut at Broadway's Gershwin Theatre on October 30, 2003, and has since painted the theatre scene green. There are numerous ways to celebrate this momentous occasion: listen to the musical soundtrack, watch the musical live, view clips of the musical on YouTube, dress up as your favourite character, and much more!

What is Wicked about?

Did you always think that the Wicked Witch of the East and Glinda The Good were lifelong enemies? You'd be wrong! After a disastrous meeting at the magical academy, an extraordinary friendship forms between two girls who couldn't be any more different: blonde and ditzy Glinda, and the misunderstood nerdy green girl, Elphaba. Rejected by her family for her emerald skin tone and blamed for her younger sister's disability, Elphaba is expected to follow on in her cold father's role as mayor - but she has other plans. Plans that could change the lives of all Oz inhabitants forever.

Be part of the magic and find out why Wicked is the fourth longest running musical on Broadway and has been seen by more than 50 million people - book your ticket today!
