Absolutely outstanding the cast were fantastic gripping lost in the moment absolutely brillant all four acts . Every single person was a star . 🌟

An amazing performance in Birmingham last night! All the singers were stunning! But the highlight of the night was when they sang the national anthem of Ukraine accompanied by the orchestra...I arrived at the theatre without having read who the artists would be, only found out shortly before the start...Well done to them and the audience...Amazing! Thank you.

Saw this at Richmond Theatre last night. Absolutely stunning performance. Voices were wonderful. Our favourite opera because it is full of fun and romping music. Last nights performance ended with the unfurling of a Ukraine flag and singing their national anthem.

A more confident second half .. the singer portraying Micaëla was fabulous & her voice was exceptional! The costumes & set were far more believable than Madame Butterfly the night previously. Shame to see so many leave early before the final act. Their loss as with a Ukrainian cast & orchestra they again sang the Ukrainian National anthem along with unfurling the flag & the crowd gave a standing ovation .. & ended the evening emotionally

They seemed to have a few problems with the sound balance in Act 1 but looked to have it sorted by the start of Act 2. The female leads were all superb and Don Jose had his moments but we thought Escamillo wobbled around the note a bit. The unfurling of the Ukrainian flag and rendition of Ukraine's national Anthem brought the house down at the end.

I booked a ticket for show tomorrow night but have not received my ticket, although money has been taken from my account five days ago!
