A Cheerful Tuner

An all out celebration of female empowerment that shines brightly out from its radiant central cast

This unabashedly cheerful tuner arrives on the West End in fine form. Zippy, campy and full of gloriously OTT 80s fashion, it's an all-out celebration of female empowerment that shines brightly out from its radiant central cast (Caroline Sheen, Amber Davies, Natalie McQueen.)

If you love Dolly Parton and you loved the movie, there is nothing here to disappoint. From the opening number (introduced by Dolly herself via video) that shows our three heroines stuck in a chauvinist workplace, to the truly bonkers conceit - the kidnapping of their misogynistic boss (Brian Conley hilariously navigating a high wire and gimp suit) - to the feel-good finale - the three gals end up running the company - it's a riotous escape from reality.

Though it might not win any accolades for said storyline, it's a great night out and the performances from our trio of leading ladies, and surprise addition Bonnie Langford, are stunning enough to keep you warm all winter long.  So if you're looking for a guaranteed night of fun, delivered with style and smile you can't go wrong with 9 to 5, now tumbling outta bed at the Savoy Theatre.
