The beloved musical adaptation of Only Fools and Horses is set to return with a star-studded twist this Christmas. The show, which delighted audiences in the West End until last year, has announced that Hollywood actor Vinnie Jones will join its cast.

Vinnie Jones, the former football player turned silver screen actor, will portray Danny Driscoll alongside Paul Whitehouse, who is reprising his role as Grandpa. Jones is best known for his roles in Guy Ritchie's Snatch and Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, as well as Eurotrip and Midnight Meat Train alongside Bradley Cooper. The tough-guy actor expressed his excitement about the casting announcement: "I've always been a fan of Only Fools and Horses, and when my longtime friend Phil McIntyre called me up and said he was interested in me playing the role of Danny Driscoll, I told him to count me in."

Based on John Sullivan's iconic sitcom, the musical is co-written by Sullivan's son, Jim Sullivan, and actor Paul Whitehouse. The production will arrive at the Hammersmith Eventim Apollo for a three-week run starting on 17 December 2024.

Directed by Caroline Jay Ranger, with musical supervision and arrangement by Stuart Morley, the show promises to bring the same charm and humor that made it a hit in the West End.
